Wi-Fi Phone Shipments to Double Every Two Years

ABI announced the results of study that shows Wi-Fi-enabled phones are doubling in sales every two years. The analyst firm also reports that it believes the number of Wi-Fi handsets may more than double between 2009 and 2011 with over 200 million expected to ship in 2011.
