Palm Accepting Applications for Paid Apps on the Pre
Palm announced today that it will begin accepting applications for paid Pre applications. The declaration is part of Palm’s plan for an e-commerce beta program. Participating developers will be among the first to have their paid apps on Palm’s Pre.
Palm will begin rolling out programs in mid-September. Developers whose applications are accepted will receive 70 percent of the revenues generated from any sold app, according to InformationWeek. Customers will be able to pay for apps using either Visa or Mastercard, reports The Washington Post.
