Facebook Makes FriendFeed Technology Open Source
Taking a cue from Twitter, Facebook is making Web server technology open source to encourage developers to create applications for the service, reports Computerworld.
The technology, known as Tornado, comes from its acquisition of FriendFeed, according to CNET News.
