Apple has made the new iPhone Software Development Kit 3.1 available for download for registered iPhone developers. The SDK includes iPhone simulator, Xcode IDE and a number of additional tools for developing iPhone and iPod Touch applications, Softpedia reports.

The updated SDK comes shortly after the release of iPhone OS 3.1, which was announced at an Apple event earlier this week.
